Week Of May 8th and Mother's Day Fun

I was continuing my exercise journey with the Fitness Blender workouts on youtube and Cooper joined me several times for a few minutes.

Saturday we had soccer and someone was prepared for cold weather

I have no clue though sometime this spring Cooper learned to 'dab' and did that quite often on the soccer fields. And he ALWAYS knew what the score was.

On the day I wore the cute shirt Miss Jamie made me so I wanted pictures.

This is definitely me. I stand the whole time because I feel bad screaming while sitting next to someone on the bleachers...and because I can't sit still.

And sweet Casen Andrew

Who's that guy? Where did he come from? Who's that guy? Where can I get one?....Name that movie :) It's a Johnson girl favorite.

Yes, in May Kyle got a motorcycle.  It makes me pretty nervous and I wasn't on board with it but he researched a lot, found a good deal on a used bike, and I caved. No I haven't ridden it and I never will. Yes, I still get nervous watching him ride it. But he really enjoys it and I pray he drives it responsibly.

Saturday afternoon we celebrate Tinsley Michelle's 4th birthday with a swim party

Pretty birthday girl

Then we raced to Urban Air for Vincent's birthday party and the boys had a total blast. This was their favorite thing.

Sunday we started our Mother's Day with church as a family and afterwards Cooper told me he wanted to help me carry my purse.

Then we went with Mimi, Grandpa, and Uncle T to a Goat Dairy Farm that only opens to the public twice a year. We weren't sure what to expect, but Susan heard about it at work and we decided to go for it. It was a lot of fun just wish we had time to shop at the market before it closed. And the tour was a bit long. But it was also free!

Then we were going to go get ice cream and I suggested a place I heard about from a coworker called Lumi Snow. It is ice cream with a texture more like a soft snow cone. We chose 3 flavors to all share (Cookie Monster, Strawberry Cheesecake, and PB &C).

It was definitely a fun day of trying new things.

And here is a questionnaire Cooper answered about me. Not thrilled about the weight but I love that he knew my favorite food.

Week of May 1st

These boys love to match pjs and so do I!  I soak it up while I can.

May 1st restarted my journey to get fit. The project was over which meant less stress, more exercise, and better eating. This was night 1. The boys had grilled chicken, mac and cheese and fruit.

Night 2 we made the leftover chicken into tacos and I skipped the tortilla and just had a few chips.

Casen was celebrating fitting a piece

Apparently I only took a pic of 1 day of teacher appreciation. I did other's but now it has been so long I can't remember what I did.

And I needed a little treat one day so I did portion control so I didn't splurge too much. I am not one of those that goes all in on a diet.

Night 3 more tacos

That Friday night my cousin Robert got some free tickets to a TCU baseball game so Cooper and I snatched two of them to join.

My cute date

Honestly he was bored at the game and ate his way through it (he is a Johnson for sure). He had peanuts, a drink, ice cream, and finished of one of the other kids snow cones.

Is it just me or does he look about 9 here! Where did my baby go?

He had so much fun playing with Kolton and Kale. And I had a great time hanging out with Amber.

Sweet Ella became my BFF which I soaked up

Cooper and I both had dip n dots

Saturday morning I had to take Ranger to the vet. He hadn't been acting himself, wasn't eating, and then started having potty issues.

This wasn't our normal vet but they said they thought he just had a virus or ate something bad. So we were sent home with meds and a big bill.

But I did play a little prank on Kyle :)

Later that day we went to Ennis and the kiddos wanted to go see the cows so I tagged along.

That night we went to Jen and David's to hangout and get haircuts. Casen loved staying up late and snacking.

Then Sunday Cooper and I went to a teammate's soccer party at an indoor place that was a lot of fun.

He loved the soccer goodies
