New Year's Eve and Day

On New Year's Eve we celebrated the extended Johnson Christmas.  Once again I didn't take any pictures but my mom got this one of my Granny and Papa with all 8 of their great-grandchildren.

We spent NYE as a quiet evening at home as a family.  I was still recovering from my kidney stone and with a newborn we knew we wouldn't make it until midnight.  In fact the boys did fireworks (left from 4th of July) around 6pm and then we watched movies and went to bed by 9:30.

This was my Instagram Top Nine for 2018. Poor coop didn't make the top 9 because it was all about Chloe.

We spent the next day in our pjs and just relaxed.

In the pic below Chloe was just in a diaper and swaddled.  She started wiggling and Casen said 'no no, don't let your boobies out'  It cracked me up.

Lots of Chloe time

And lots of playing

See still in my pjs and leftover mascara

This mismatch outfit courtesy of Daddy made me laugh

That evening Catelyn and Annelise came over to play while Angela and John had a little date night.  The girls loved cuddling with Chloe.

And the boys had so much fun with their cousins.  Cooper actually ran up to me and said 'thank you so much for letting them come play!!'

We had such a good time with the girls that evening.

Johnson Christmas

On December 30th we celebrated Christmas with my parents.  We started by attending mass as a family and then went back to my parents for Mexican food.  Then we had a visit from St. Nick and a little photoshoot before presents.  My parents purchased a visit from St. Nick along with a photographer at a church fundraiser.  I didn't take a single picture this day but Lauren got some gorgeous ones.

Babi and Grandaddy with all 8 babies

At first I thought this was all of the granddaughters but MacKenzie is actually missing :(  Right now Mac is the only blonde granddaughter. It will be fun to see if Chloe stays brunette or is blonde like I was as a kid.

Chloe's first visit with St. Nick

I love them all looking at her....just the beginning of it being all about her.

And a family picture of all of us.  I just love it!  So the funny thing is that everyone is wearing their Christmas outfits.  Without coordinating It all 3 families were doing dark green, navy and cream so Babi and Grandaddy did the same.  It was perfect!

St. Nick had a bag for each kid with the wolf hat in them.  And Chloe got a little red riding hood made by my mom.  Hence the picture above with wolf hats.

LOVE this picture of my mom and dad.  They are the best parents and grandparents to our kiddos.

Chloe's Baptism Part 2

A few days after Chloe's baptism I realized I didn't get any good pictures of in her baptism gown.  So I decided I would take some pictures at home. These were actually taken about 2.5 weeks after her baptism so she has put on some weight and also become more interactive.

I took the pictures in my entry but didn't notice the horrible shadow coming from our entry light and from me.  The funny thing is that these first few pictures remind me of pictures taken in the 80s and I am still including them.

I am sharing way too many pictures because I love them all.  And this is why I can't be a photographer because I am horrible at narrowing down pictures.

Here she is wearing mommy's baptism gown, socks, and blanket.

Dang that shadow because this is such a cute picture of our girl smiling

I just love those cheeks and that bottom lip

Then I took pictures of her in the gown given by my coworker, Terri and the socks from Babi.
