Sylvester Easter

Last Saturday was Sylvester Easter! I look forward to this every year. I think I like it more than Christmas because the weather is gorgeous and the kids get to run wild.

First our day started with a soccer game. It is always windy at soccer so I put this headwrap on Chloe to protect her ears.

And of course Coopie wanted a pic with his favorite girl

The head wrap worked perfectly and the weather was gorgeous

My favorite little wombat

Casen had a great game but was a little sluggish the second half....

We raced home after the game gathered up our stuff and headed to Ennis.

Now when I was getting ready Casen came in and said he was going to throw up and went to the toilet. He never threw up but said he needed some pink medicine (kids pepto). I said okay but then forgot....

10 minutes down the road he was puking in my car!! I turned around and took him home to stay with Kyle. I told Kyle they could come to the hunt later if he was filling okay but right before they were going to leave he puked again. So sadly Casen and Kyle didn't get to join us for Sylvester Easter.

Chloe was napping while I was getting ready so I left her in her clothes and changed her once we got there. Uncle Trent was happy to get some Chloe time since he has been so busy studying lately.

All changed and with her Babi

Tracen wanted a turn with Whoawy

The egg hunt pics are out of order but I don't feel like fixing them.

My mom gathered some goodies for Casen and he also got the few things out of Chloe's basket.

My mom and aunt setup a cute little photo spot on the side of the house. Unfortunately it was in full sun and faced the sun but it was cute.

Then it was time for train and tractor rides. The kids look forward to this all year long.

Baby girl was having so much fun and in a great mood but then I cuddled her up and she passed out in my arms. (and mommy enjoyed one cold adult beverage)

Oh those cheeks!! LOVE!

The boys ran around like crazy and played some soccer. I really miss watching Cooper out on the soccer fields but he doesn't miss it :(

The new babies took a picture together. Chloe and Genevieve (Evie). They are exactly 4 months apart from 12/1 to 4/1.

It was such a great day. We couldn't have asked for better weather. The only thing missing was my other two boys!

Johnson Easter

On Good Friday we celebrated Easter with the Johnsons. Unfortunately Granny and Papa weren't able to make it. And somehow I didn't get any pics with Aunt Neva, Erica, or Uncle Tommy, but they were there too. We had a yummy dinner and then did an egg hunt.

Each kid was assigned a different color and they only had 16 eggs each but it lasts longer and is a bit challenging by assigning them a color. All of them are old enough to do this now except Chloe.

Before the egg hunt Melisa was going to put color street on my toes but first Tracen and Tinsley wanted to help get the nail polish off of my toes. Aren't they sweet?

Ready to hunt

And they are off

Chloe had 6 purple.

And we had gotten a lot of rain and my parents backyard was kind of soggy so my mom and I both wore rain boots...and look ridiculous lol

Aunt Lusa helped Chloe get her daddy with a confetti egg

She didn't like it

Counting their eggs

It was a nice casual evening with the family.
