I took the week of Thanksgiving off and was very productive with fun and chores.
Monday I dropped the kids off at daycare and they were so excited to play with their friends for the day.
As I left Casen I noticed he stamped his arm with my self inking address stamp. I thought it look like a prison inmate tattoo!
I ran a lot of errands for party planning because our girl was about to turn 1.
Then I met Jen in Fort Worth for lunch at Torchy's. After we went to her house where she colored and cut my hair. Then she made about 8 shirts for us! I kept her busy :)
That night Chloe drank from a straw with her own cup like a big girl
And she tried on her new tennis shoes
I completed Chloe's pumpkin blog and personalized pumpkin (however instead of painting the big pumpkin I used a vinyl that has since fallen off so I will have to paint it for next year)
Tuesday morning I was loving this sweet curl
I did a trial run on two of our favorite recipes as mini muffins for party planning. They turned out yummy. Chloe and Casen love the egg muffins.
Then we attempted a quick front porch photoshoot with her pumpkin and it was a fail. But we were both over it so we just let it go.
Then it was time to get ready and someone was underfoot
Seriously this girl wanted her momma. And I kind of love it. Lie. I love it a lot.
Showing off my cute new shirt and hair thanks to Jen.
Then we loaded up and headed to Six Flags with my sister, her kids, and my mom. We had so much fun and took lots of pictures that I will share in a separate post.
Tuesday night I was exhausted but accomplished.
Wednesday it was back to school so I could get more done.
So cute in her turkey outfit
More party prep
I ordered these disposable hand towels for our guest bathroom. It was a great hostess tip on a blog. No one likes using the same soggy hand towel that was used 10 times before you.
Casen and I made cookies together for thanksgiving. It is a little stressful to let go, let it be a little messy, and a little inefficient. But I try to just do it.
They cooked uneven but tasted delicious.
Another productive day.
Next up it's turkey day.
