12 Weeks!!
How Far Along: 12 weeks
Size of baby: Baby Cline is the size of a lime (at our appt the dr said the baby is measuring around 3 inches long.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: .5 lb gained
Maternity Clothes: not yet but getting closer. My options for pants are getting smaller.
Gender: about 8 weeks to go. People are starting to tell me what I think and right now it is about split. Babi and Meme think girl. A couple of my cousins and aunts think boy. most of the ladies at work that have told me have said boy.
Movement: still a few more weeks to go but I can't wait to start feeling the baby!!
Sleep: still sleeping as much as I can. I think I went to be at 8:45 last night.
What I miss: this week I can't really think of anything.
Cravings: Loving guacamole. The past couple of days I have been craving Flamin hot Fritos. I even asked Kyle to pick some up on his way home. He couldn't find them so I settled for Flamin Hot Puffy Cheetos (they were so yummy I wanted more!!). Then I went to Frito Lays website and found out where they sell the flamin hot fritos. I plan to hunt them down today or tomorrow!!
Symptoms: I have been weaning myself off of my nausea meds. I was able to bring it down to 2 pills last week and then on the weekend to just the evening pill. I am still taking the evening pill because that seems to be the hardest time for me. I still feel some nausea during the morning and days but not enough to where I get sick.
Best Moment this week: We received an adorable set of baby things from Uncle Tyler and of course it is A&M. It was so sweet and thoughtful to get those. I can't wait to get a picture of our peanut in the outfit. I also ordered Kyle and adorable onesie that said "Daddy's Little Hunter" and gave it to him at Christmas. I think he really liked it. Babi and Grandaddy also gave us some onesies, a finger puppet, and a Christmas bib for next year. Angela also gave the baby these cute soft bright colored blocks.
Hardest Moment this week: as if the fall last week wasn't bad enough we had an even harder moment this past week. In the evening on Christmas Day I experienced some light bleeding. It was very scary and I couldn't help but get upset. Of course in turn this upset and worried Kyle. I thought worse case scenario since I had fallen a week ago and my nausea had slowly been lessening. Kyle wanted to go straight to the ER but we decided to call my dr and the nurse said to head to the ER if the bleeding got heavier or I experienced bad cramps. Luckily the bleeding slowly stopped and we were able to make it to our appt on Monday. My gut told me things were okay but after everything Kyle and I have been through it was hard not to go to that dark place and be overwhelmed by emotions. Luckily Kyle and my family was amazing during this though I know it gave everyone a good scare.
But to leave on a happy note-
The very best part was getting to check on the baby yesterday during the ultrasound. It was out 12 week appt and due to the bleeding they wanted to do an ultrasound. We got to hear the heartbeat again briefly and watch the baby move around. It made Kyle and I feel so much better and it was cool to see how much the baby has changed in 4 weeks. Last time it was 1/2 an inch and now it is about 3 inches!!
Our next appt in January 24th!! 2 days after my 26th birthday!

Belly pics from 11 weeks and Riley

Maybe I look bigger in the second one because I was exhaling?
Such a sweet girl!!

11 Weeks! picture to come later!

These pictures were taken about 30 seconds apart but I guess the angle in the first one I look much bigger than I do in the second pic.How Far Along: 11 weeks
Size of baby: Baby Cline is the size of a fig
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 1 lbs gained
Maternity Clothes: not yet
Gender: about 9 weeks to go! I did have a dream this past weekend that I was having a girl.
Movement: None yet, still too early.
Sleep: sleeping a lot!!
What I miss: not thinking "is this going to make me sick?" before eating anything
Cravings: Still goldfish, sour candy, more water because I feel thirsty a lot. NO MEXICAN. This is very hard for Kyle and I because we have always loved Mexican so to not it once or twice a week is hard. Though I do still like salsa and guacamole.
Symptoms: since the medicine things have gotten better. I have only been sick 2-3 times in the past week. I am much thirstier and I am clumsier (details to come).
Best Moment this week: not being sick constantly. Also receiving a cute TCU beanie for the baby and a cute gender neutral outfit from my Aunt Carla's family for Christmas. It is fun to start collecting things for the baby and it will be even more fun once we know whether to shop boy or girl!!
Hardest Moment this week: Being clumsy and falling on my face. I tripped in Meme and Grandpa Cline's driveway and busted my face. I have a pretty good sized bump along with a scratch and black eye from the fall. It hurt but it was also very scary. Luckily I didn't fall on my stomach and I wasn't further along in my pregnancy so we decided not to go to the hospital. I did call my doctor to let her know what happened today and am waiting to hear back. I am also lucky I didn't knock any teeth out. So from now on no more running or speed walking because we all know I don't really run!!

10 Weeks!!
Man this is a bad picture of me but it was before work and we were in a rush. Little Riley snuck into the picture! He's swallowing fluid and kicking up a storm. Vital organs — including his kidneys, intestines, brain, and liver (now making red blood cells in place of the disappearing yolk sac) — are in place and starting to function, though they'll continue to develop throughout your pregnancy.
If you could take a peek inside your womb, you'd spot minute details, like tiny nails forming on fingers and toes (no more webbing) and peach-fuzz hair beginning to grow on tender skin.
In other developments: Your baby's limbs can bend now. His hands are flexed at the wrist and meet over his heart, and his feet may be long enough to meet in front of his body. The outline of his spine is clearly visible through translucent skin, and spinal nerves are beginning to stretch out from his spinal cord. Your baby's forehead temporarily bulges with his developing brain and sits very high on his head, which measures half the length of his body. From crown to rump, he's about 1 1/4 inches long. In the coming weeks, your baby will again double in size — to nearly 3 inches.

Christmas Decorations!

With no lights on...
Wreath on the front door. This year we put a nail in the door because Kyle hated the hook over the door.
We put cinnamon scented pine cones and ornaments inside the vases. The table runner and place mats were made by my granny and they look great with the everything. This picture doesn't do it justice but it is very pretty!
Here are the stockings hung on the edge of the bar. Since we don't have a fireplace we have to make do. I have stockings for Ranger and Riley but somehow they didn't get pulled out.
This is a gorgeous TCU ornament that Kyle bought for me a couple of years ago. We saw it at a cute boutique the day we were closing on our house and he went back and got it for me. I haven't put it out the past 2 years because my tree is decorated in silver and red. The ornament is gold accented so I bought a cute gold ornament hanger to display it on. I love this ornament!!
My new nativity set. I have been looking for a cute nativity and I saw this one this year at Hobby Lobby. I caught it when it was on sale for 50% off. I might need to buy some snow to put under it but I love how the gold accents go with some of the decoration I already had on this table.
These are a couple of sentimental pieces.
This reindeer is from Kyle's great-grandmother. Susan also used to have one and when she offered it to me I declined. Now I am wishing I had taken it because it would have been nice to have it also as a passed down piece. I think I need to add a bow to its neck or something.

I forgot to take a picture of them close up but I also have some ornaments on the tree that are from my Grandad's side of the family (you can see the Santa Claus one in the middle of the tree in the above pics). They were from his mother's Christmas tree skirt and my mom made the tree skirt into ornaments. The tree skirt was old and couldn't be used anymore so it was something crafty my mom did with it. She gave each of us girls some of the ornaments when we got married.
A little off topic but while at CVS yesterday I saw these doggie stairs on sale for $10. Riley can't get on our couch or bed by herself because she is afraid to jump. We have friends with a dog the same size and Tootsie has no problem getting on the couch. We know it is just because Riley is goofy and a scaredy-cat. So I decided to get these for her plus make it easier for Ranger.
Here is a picture of Kyle putting them together (I see him assembling tricycles and barbie doll houses in his future!!). He kept dodging the pictures so they aren't great of him but I told him that is his fault and I was posting them anyway!

Ranger was so excited to see what Daddy was putting together. Once they were put together we tried to get Riley to use them. No such luck. We even put her favorite ball on the couch to entice her and it didn't work. Ranger was more than happy to show off and show her how to use the stairs. Hopefully overtime she will get more comfortable and try it out. For now she is just going to have to sit on the floor by herself.
I forgot to get pictures of the finished product and the pups with the stairs.
I am not superwoman! (I know you are shocked!)

Unfortunately the sea bands didn't do the trick. I was wearing them as I got sick last night!! So much for those. Today I am going to try the ginger gum I bought. Ginger is supposed to help with nausea (like ginger ale) so we will see how this goes.
However in addition to this over the counter stuff I have decided to go ahead and call my doctor. I am going to let them know how I am feeling and if they think I should go on a prescription medicine for nausea then I will accept it. I really don't want to feel like this during the holidays and am willing to concede to medicine if I feel better and am able to function more.
I will end with a picture of me with my team because they kept wanting to get into pictures!

9 Weeks!

How Far Along: 8 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby Cline is the size of a grape
Total Weight Gain/Loss: -1.5 lbs (2 lbs lost this week which isn't surprising with how sick I was)
Maternity Clothes: Work clothes are getting tight but I use a rubber band sometimes to help instead of buttoning them.
Gender: 11 weeks until we find out
Movement: None yet, still too early.
Sleep: Still restless but better.
What I miss: I still miss hot baths and not being tired!!
Cravings: I had sweetarts and nerds from Annelise's party goody bag this weekend and I loved them. Kept wanting more. I also woke up Saturday morning after our Christmas party wanting donuts so I enjoyed donuts! (I also stopped and got some this morning!)
Symptoms: I felt better this weekend than I have so I thought it was getting better. However this morning I couldn't make it to the toilet and I got sick all over myself and the bathroom. Ranger so so sweet and concerned right next to me while Riley was concerned but also scared and kept her distance. I don't blame her because I think she was afraid of being caught in the line of fire. Kyle had already left for work so I just cried while cleaning myself and the bathroom. As you can tell throwing up usually leads to me crying. I think I was crying more because I thought I was over throwing up.
Best Moment this week: Showing family, friends, and coworkers the ultrasound pic. I also couldn't resist and bought two little things this week for our peanut.
Hardest Moment this week: Still being sick. I really hope it goes away this week.
I can't wait: to start feeling better and to find out the gender!
Blurb about our baby from B@bycenter website-
Your new resident is nearly an inch long — about the size of a grape — and weighs just a fraction of an ounce. She's starting to look more and more human. Her essential body parts are accounted for, though they'll go through plenty of fine-tuning in the coming months. Other changes abound: Your baby's heart finishes dividing into four chambers, and the valves start to form — as do her tiny teeth. The embryonic "tail" is completely gone. Your baby's organs, muscles, and nerves are kicking into gear. The external sex organs are there but won't be distinguishable as male or female for another few weeks. Her eyes are fully formed, but her eyelids are fused shut and won't open until 27 weeks. She has tiny earlobes, and her mouth, nose, and nostrils are more distinct. The placenta is developed enough now to take over most of the critical job of producing hormones. Now that your baby's basic physiology is in place, she's poised for rapid weight gain.

Our holiday weekend
**side note- I am eating ritz crackers with cheese as I write this and it tastes so good. This may be my comfort food while I am sick!!**
Thursday we cleaned house and Kyle helped around the kitchen. We put together a salad, made cheesecake cupcakes, and firecrackers. It is a good thing he helped because I always try to do too much and I was overwhelmed trying to get everything done.
We went to Kyle's aunt Shari's house for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful meal. I love mashed potatoes with a good brown gravy so that was my favorite part! We played lots of card games and board games and had a really good time. We had such a good time that we didn't leave until 10 or so which wasn't a good idea since we planned to get up early to do some Black Friday shopping.
We went to bed around 11:00 and got up at 2:30 am to head to sears to get a new tv. It was not easy getting Kyle out of bed and out the door but we made it. We were able to get the only tv they had in stock like we wanted and I also got a new coat and boots that were door busters.
We went back to sleep and went to Cavenders and Cabela's later. Then after some more sleep we went to Into the West and bought a tv stand and went to visit with his parents. Kyle's dad Larry is having back problems and has been in pain for about a week.
Saturday morning Kyle woke up sick with allergy/cold issues and so I headed to Thanksgiving at my Granny's by myself. I hated that he wasn't going but the only plus to it was that we were no longer going to stay the night therefore we didn't have to pack bags or the dogs up to go with us. I had a fun time eating steak, baked potatoes and green stuff (guacamole). We also played Canasta. Granny and I did awesome at Canasta and won 3 or 4 games in a row. I had to head back to Fort Worth and not home around 10:00 or so I think.
Sunday I went to church and then did some more chores around the house. Kyle then helped get the Christmas decorations out and we did all of the Christmas decorating except the outside. Not sure if/when the outside will get done because Kyle thinks it is a waste of electricity. I think it is pretty.
Monday morning we had our ultrasound first thing so we got to sleep in a little bit and Kyle drove me in to work. That night David came by to help unload the new tv stand and move the old tv out of the way.
I was horrible about taking pictures this weekend. I took my camera but just forgot to get it out. Oh well!
Rough Morning!! (past 2 weeks)
I sat on my bathroom floor in tears this morning. I am so tired of being sick. I am tired of throwing up. I am tired of being tired. I feel like a zombie just trying to make it to the 12th week mark. I wanted so bad the be the girl that loved being pregnant and looked forward to having the next one. That is not me right now. I just can't help but hope that this goes away soon and the next pregnancy is completely different. The idea of possibly feeling like this for the next 4 week and during the holidays overwhelms me. I can't help but feel sorry for myself.
I wake up in the morning sick and sometimes throw up before I even get out of the house. Feel sick all day while I try to get my work done and not throw up in my trash can in my cube. I am really trying to avoid that because I am sure it would not be a pleasant sound for my many cube mates to hear. I then pray on my way home that I don't get sick in the car (though today I put towels in my car just in case). Yesterday at the grocery store Kyle had a plastic bag ready in case I was going to get sick and again dodged the bullet. I make myself eat something for dinner and then I lay in bed or on the couch sleeping or dozing off until I finally take my contacts out, wash my face, take my medicine and go to sleep. And then it starts over.
This morning Kyle tried to comfort me and I couldn't help but resent him in my head. It is easy for him to say he is sorry but man I wish he could do this part for me. I try to remind myself that I am not the first woman to feel like this and those before me all survived. I will survive. I remind myself that it will all be worth it. Looking at that sonogram picture definitely helps give me something to look forward to.
Then I got to work this morning and saw an email from a church friend of mine. Her son and daughter-in-law (DIL) have tried to get pregnant for a while but had to resort to IVF. I know the DIL also because I went through CRHP with her and we bonded over our difficulties in trying to get pregnant. They were able to conceive TWINS from IVF but it has been a very difficult pregnancy. Her body tried to reject the babies and many other complications. I found out this morning that at 25 weeks she has lost her mucus plug and her body has started to go into labor. She has been admitted to the hospital from now until the babies are born. They are going to try to slow her body down and give the babies a chance to develop some more. The goal is to make it to 28 weeks. Right now they only have a 75% survival rate and 40-50% neurological development rate. This was a huge reality check. I can't imagine the pain and worry they are all going through right now. They have prayed long and hard to be blessed with children and it has been a difficult journey. I ask you all to pray for Melanie and her twins along with her husband Corey and mother-in-law Cheri and all of the rest of their family. They have some difficult days and weeks ahead of them.
These days may be tough on me but in the end Kyle and I will be parents. We will be blessed with a beautiful baby boy or girl that we will love with all of hearts. I will pray each day for God to give me the strength to keep going. I will also pray that God continue to help our baby grow and develop to be a strong healthy baby that will arrive sometime around July 11th. I ask you to pray with me.
We are truly blessed.

8 Weeks!!
Best Moment this week: Seeing our baby and hearing the heartbeat this morning. The appt went great and we have our next one Dec 27th.
Hardest Moment this week: Throwing up, because seriously who likes that!!

Such a fun weekend!

I took an adorable video of Carleigh and Carsyn playing but I can't get it to load on here. Carsyn wanted to be a statue and Carleigh called her "Carsyn of Liberty!" Soon after playing with my camera it died so that was the end of picture taking for the weekend.
Saturday night my mom, my dad, Kyle, Melisa, and I all went to Dallas for a Las Vegas Night fund-raiser. We had so much fun and I had a lot of luck!! I think we all wanted to head to Shreveport after that little taste of gambling. We even bought some fun things from the silent auction.
Once again it was a late night. I think I went to sleep around 1am and got up at 6:30am to go to mass with my parents. Kyle was crazy and got up at 4:30 to hunt again. After church and a brief nap we went to Granny's for lunch. My Papa decided to fry a turkey they had and it was amazing!! Granny fixed all of the wonderful trimmings and we ate ourselves sick. We played some games while the boys did some work and then headed back to Fort Worth.
The weekend was a lot of fun but due to the lack of sleep Kyle and I went to sleep at 8:30 on Sunday night!
PS- This morning I actually got sick for the first time. I was getting ready for work and it was only stomach bile. Kyle said "did anything come up" and I said "only stomach bile." He then said that stomach bile still counted and I officially threw up for the first time. He seemed excited, me not so much!
5 more sleeps until we go to the doctor!!

7 Weeks!!
How Far Along: 7 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby Cline is the size of a blueberry
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 1/2 a pound overall (1.5 lbs this past week)
Maternity Clothes: My jeans are tight when I sit down...can you say muffin top!!
Gender: Still have 7-11 weeks until we find out but I sure am ready so I can start shopping!!
Movement: None yet, still too early
Sleep: I am sleeping a little better because I am just so tired!
What I miss: Sodas, sub sandwiches, and fitting in my clothes. I often feel very self-conscious in my clothes because right now I just feel bloated and chubby.
Cravings: This week nothing....I was sick and nothing appealed to me. The couple of times I craved something when I ate it it made me feel sick or wasn't as good as I thought.
Symptoms: Very nauseous this past week. The nausea took away my appetite so I had to make a conscious effort to eat.
Best Moment this week: Getting our first baby gift from Jodi and talking to Carsyn about me having a baby like her baby brother Quinn.
Hardest Moment this week: Being sick and not being able to show it at work. Also going into our kitchen at work during lunch. The hodgepodge of smells is horrible.
I can't wait: until our appt in 7 more sleeps!! I can't wait to check on our little one and hopefully it will all start feeling more real.

First Baby Gift!!!
This is our first baby gift!! It is gender neutral and will be great for next football season!! Thank you so much Jodi!!
Then I had to share this funny picture with you. It is horrible quality because I only had time to grab my phone not my actual camera for the picture.
I gave Ranger and Riley their treats this morning before I left and this time I gave them these sausage looking things. Ranger held his in his mouth like a cigar and just held it there. It was so funny. I even told him to wait so I could go get my phone and sure enough he was still waiting with it!!

Baby Bedding!!
Last July when I was pregnant one of the first things I did was start looking at baby bedding. I always liked the idea of having something neutral for a boy or girl but I am not a huge fan of themed nurseries. When looking I came across bedding that was exactly like what I was looking for. My heart was pretty much set on it.
Then a few days later I miscarried and I thought back to that perfect bedding. Though I loved the bedding the only problem was that it was on a discount site because it had been discontinued. There was a chance that by the time I was pregnant again it would be gone. I showed the bedding to Kyle and explained my dilemma. He told me to go ahead and buy it if I loved it but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I felt like I would be jinxing our situation and to be honest I thought other people would think it was weird if I had baby bedding and no baby.
I ultimately decided not to buy it and just wait and see what happened.
Well on September 22 it was our anniversary. Kyle revealed his gift to me.

He had ordered the baby bedding that I had told him about 2 months earlier. I couldn't believe he remembered the conversation much less the specifics of the bedding to be able to order it. It was the most amazing, thoughtful gift he could have given me. It meant so much to me to open that box and see the bedding there. I loved it just as much in person!!!
It is amazing that the very next month we would find out we were having a baby. I wouldn't be the weird woman who has baby bedding and no baby : )
If our baby is a boy we will use a blue sheet and decorate in blues and greens to make it more masculine. Plus we will probably get darker furniture if it looks good because I think it will look a little more gender neutral. Obviously if it is a girl we will bring out more pinks and red colors. If it is twins we may be in trouble but to be honest I don't think we will have twins and so far there are still some sets for sale.
I have so many fun ideas for the nursery but for now we will have to wait and see if we are having a boy or girl.

Our Weekend
Saturday Kyle and I ran errands. We went to Old N*vy where we got great deals because I had a 30% off coupon!! Then we wandered around B*bies R Us. At first it was kind of overwhelming but it was surprising how quickly Kyle and I agreed on things. I reassured him that I would bring my mom and/or his mom to help when we actually register. I can see Kyle convincing me not to get a lot of stuff because "we don't need it."
Then we went by the North Hills h*spital to take a quick tour. I had heard good things about the hospital being small and intimate and because I was considering doctors I thought it might be a good idea to see if I like it. If we did like it then we could find a doctor that delivered there and I could switch since I am still early in my pregnancy. The hospital was nice but again a bit overwhelming. The moment quickly passed and I think it was nice for both of us to hear the quick version of how things would work. Though we liked the hospital for various reasons we have decided against delivering there.
We then watched the TCU game at Larry and Susan's since we were in the area and Larry loves TCU so it is fun to watch games with him. After TCU won the game (though not by as much as they should have) we headed to pick up a pizza and spend the evening at home.
Sunday we went to church, the grocery store, and did laundry. It was a nice lazy day.
*Tomorrow I will share with you our adorable bedding and the story behind it.
**If you noticed I am putting symbols in some of my words it is because I heard you should do that to keep your blog from coming up when people google popular stores/restaurants/movies/etc.

6 Weeks!!
How Far Along: 6 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby Cline is the size of a lentil bean
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Lost 1 lb
Maternity Clothes: Some pants are fitting a little snug already but to be honest they were already snug before I was prego.
Gender: Won't find out until between 16-20 weeks
Movement: None yet, still too early
Sleep: I am not sleeping well. I toss and turn a lot.
What I miss: Subway sandwiches and Big Red!! (I am typing this at 7:48am and I would love a spicy italian sub right now!!)
Cravings: I still love everything spicy and salty. Still don't really crave sweets. Something to drink besides water. Right now I am not hungry so I have to make myself eat. Nothing really sounds good at meal times (except sandwiches!)
Symptoms: More nauseous this past weekend. I also have a feeling in the back of my throat like there is something stuck. I am constantly coughing or clearing my throat but it doesn't help. At first I thought it was allergies but other women have had the same thing when prego. Still very tired. Not hungry
Best Moment this week: Sharing the news with Amy and Katherine. Melisa's appointment and seeing the picture of my next niece or nephew. Going to B*bies R Us with Kyle and looking forward to picking things out.
Hardest Moment this week: Keeping the secret from people at work. I have decided to wait until after the ultrasound and it is very hard. Also I started feeling more emotional this weekend and I get my feelings hurt more easily.
I can't wait: To hear the heartbeat and see our little one!!

5 Weeks!!
I borrowed this format from another blogger-
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 5 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby Cline is the size of a sesame seed
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Lost 1 lb
Maternity Clothes: not yet thank goodness
Gender: Won't find out until between 16-20 weeks
Movement: None yet, still too early
Sleep: Restless sleep.
What I miss: Nothing yet.
Cravings: Everything spicy which is funny because Melisa is having the same craving. I can't get enough jalapenos. Last week I ate at least one meal every day with jalapenos. However I have always loved spicy foods so this really isn't something new.
Subway sandwiches (which I am not eating because someone told me you aren't supposed to eat deli meat and I haven't taken the time to confirm or deny this).
I do not like sweets right now which is unusual for me. I love dessert after every meal normally but lately sweets just don't appeal to me. I want something salty for every snack.
Symptoms: Light nausea but it really just feels like I am nervous and have butterflies in my tummy. I don't actually feel like I am going to be sick. I am also VERY tired. I have a hard time staying awake past 9 and last night it was 8 thanks to the time change.
Best Moment this week: Sharing our exciting news with family and friends.

Halloween and World Series game
Baby Cline is on its way!!!
They were very surprised and happy and I couldn't help but get teary-eyed. Then we went onto Fuddruckers for dinner and to share the news with the rest of the family. Once we were seated we then showed them the cupcakes and they too were all surprised and excited for us.
Notice in the picture she is wearing an adorable dress, with a cute pink bow, bracelet, and holding her purse. I love this girl!!
At the end of the party we shared the news with my mom's side of the family that we are pregnant. Once again a lot of excitement and hugs.
This weekend was busy and tiring but also so much fun to spend that much time with family.
