It is already time for another weekend and I am just now recapping the last one, but oh well.
Friday night we had plans with the Tobolas. And Aunt Lusa decided they would pick up our kids from day-care and meet us there. Aunt Lusa is so cool with her big car...and DVD player!
We ate at Tio Tony's and Melisa and I enjoyed their cheap house margaritas. The kids did really good and we just love being able to get together easily. That being said it is really hard not having our sister Angela here. We hate not making these same memories with them.
The kids did good and were rewarded with games afterwards.
The babies got balls...They are both almost two now!!
Saturday morning Kyle headed to Ennis to work cows and drop the boys off. I did cleaning and errands. I found these cute metal squares at Hobby Lobby. I didn't buy them but still considering it.
Still trying to decide on a floor length mirror for our bedroom.
Meanwhile the boys did a little fishing.
And boat building.
And nap taking.
And drawing! Casen can find a pen or marker anywhere and luckily we catch him before he does any damage but not this time. This was after she cleaned him up.
And of course some cuddling.
Meanwhile we headed to Fort Worth for dinner with the besties. We just love these people and had a great time.
Sunday we ran errands, got the boys back and then Mimi and Grandpa came to visit. My mother-in-law is great at decorating so I had her help me tweak the design of my picture collage. And we hand a helper...
Meanwhile the boys were setting up Cooper new handmade headboard. Guys, my father-in-law made this!! Isn't he crazy talented?
All put together! Doesn't it look great!
Cooper was excited about his big bed.
We also hung these cute pieces Angela made for Cooper for Christmas. The look great!
Monday morning Casen and I ran errands and left Cooper and Kyle at home. He picked out these glow bracelets and thought it was so cool to walk around like a big boy.
When we got back Cooper was cruising while daddy worked so Casen bummed a ride.
Then we played some baseball and Cooper did great. I have my hopes up for a baseball player now.
And I hate that my finger is in this picture because we had the cutest pitcher.
This boy loves to take pictures with me.
And Cooper asked me to help him build things and I obliged since I was heading out of town that night.
Another selfie
Cooper decided to toss my legos and see if I could catch them. He though it was so cool how good I was. And then started tossing me two. I was the coolest mom ever catching two at the same time. Then he said he wanted to take a picture and throw it because I had done that earlier with baseball.. Here I am catching legos from his bad throw and he took this picture.
And then this one.
Then we did our building and tried to keep Godzilla from ruining it.
And then it was time for ice cream out the patio while we watched the rain.
We scarfed out ice cream down and went back inside. This sweet boy asked to cuddle and I couldn't say yes fast enough.
Casen was still in his high chair slowly eating his ice cream and typical Casen had to eat it as messily as possible.
Then more selfies when we realized my flight was delayed and I didn't have to leave yet.
We had an awesome weekend and made the most of an extra day together.
