Our week

Last week was a jam packed rough week.

We all felt like this Monday morning. Chloe hasn't been sleeping as well ever since the last week of August and it is rough.

She didn't keep Casen up, but he was feeling sluggish Monday morning too.

His hair cracked me up. This is how I felt too bud.

Wearing a onesie of her brothers!

Monday we were all tired, we missed the bus, lost our tempers, had a really long commute, a busy day at work, and then a church meeting that night. It was a rough day.

But Monday and Tuesday were Grandparents Day at school. My mom came to eat with both of them Monday. Casen has been begging people to come eat with him so he was super excited (even if he grabbed a lunch tray because he forgot...even though I reminded him at drop-off)

Kyle did homework with Casen and it was the sweetest thing. Kyle and I are both known to lack patience at time. But Kyle is AMAZING at homework time with the boys and I am so thankful.

I snapped that pick above and then Chloe and I raced back to Mansfield for a meeting at church. I am a co-chair on the youth committee for our church campaign (because I have so much free time).

This is what a lot of my pictures look like this day. Clo is on the move.

And easily distracted

This outfit is 6-9 months and was supposed to be for 4th of July, but our girl is a peanut.

Tuesday the boys came home with their fundraiser stuff and begged to hit the streets selling. They were cracking me up! And I was reminded of how naïve you are as a kid and fearless. They thought they would sell this stuff no problem. But they forgot that almost every house on our street has a kid at their school selling the same thing. They sold a few pieces and then I begged them to go home and promised I would take a box to work to sell.

Chloe was along for the ride.

I found this book in my night stand and decided to start reading a little bit each day...(spoiler*I did that one day and haven't read it since. It is hard to find time to sit down with a physical book these days)

Nakey baby ready for dinner

Wednesday she had her 9 month checkup. Healthy and itty bitty.

Wednesday night she was so tired and just wanted me to hold her. I didn't hate the Chloe cuddles.

One morning before school.

And Friday night she passed out in our bed before I took her to her room.

This week was a very crazy and stressful week and I know I am forgetting so much but it has been 3 weeks and I can't remember. Oh well. At least I have pictures.

Weekend recap

Saturday morning Chloe and I were up bright an early to head to Euless for a gymnastics meet. Mackenzie was competing and we came to cheer her on and give her a ride home. Melisa needed to leave early to see Tinsley's first soccer game. I loved being able to jump in and help out.

Chloe didn't have Waxahachie green so she wore her TCU purple and golden girl pants.

Mac had an awesome meet with her good luck charm Aunt Nanna Chloe. Look at our Mac getting a second place medal!

Chloe was so good the whole meet but pooped out the last 5 minutes. So we took two selfies...and then we left without Mac because she decided to ride home with a friend.

We were home around 12 and ready to relax. Kyle handled tennis lessons with the boys. Coop is always so excited to see Chloe after they are apart. I caught the cutest video of him playing with her.

That evening Casen was begging to go to Mod Pizza so we went on a special little date.

Oh yeah, with that adorable 3rd wheel :)

Even with a tagalong it was a fun time with Casen.

Sunday was a crazy day and this is the only picture I have. Cooper and I went to church together and left Case, Chloe, and daddy at home. Then I raced home to leave Coop and get Chloe.

Chloe and I went to Ennis for the church bazaar and help with the live auction. We only got to stay a few hours (before the real fun started), but had a good time visiting with family and helping out. I love the bazaar and wanted to stay the whole time but...

Kyle and I had tickets for a guest speaker at our church on marriage. This is NOT Kyle's kind of thing but when I bought the tickets back in May I told him it was important to me and so we did it. And you know what? It was really good. I am so glad we went and thankful Kyle agreed to it.

I don't have any pictures but Aunt Jen Jen and Uncle David babysat for us. This was their first time to babysit since Cooper was a baby I think. I think it makes them happy they aren't having more than one. Ha!

It was a crazy busy weekend but a good one.

Chloe is 8 months

Our Chloe girl is 8 months old!

(she is actually 9.5 months old when I write this post because I avoid these posts like the plague. I take notes all month long so it shouldn't be that hard, but they just are!)

No stat update because you haven't been to the doctor. But you wear size 2 diapers, no shoes, and 3-6 month and 6 month clothes. Some 0-3 month shorts and pants still fit.

Your current nicknames- Chloe Girl, Clo Clo, C-Lo, Peanut (the boys think this is funny because Casen uses the term peanut for male genitalia #smackmyhead)

Food and Drink-

You still nurse each morning around 5 am then have 4-5 bottles that are 4oz at school. Plus 1-2 jars of baby food and oatmeal for breakfast while at daycare. Then in the evenings you nurse and have more baby food. Usually half a jar of fruit and half a jar of veggies.

This month we also introduced you to melts and puffs and you are a fan! We send those to daycare. We also have started introducing small bites of table food at home.

This is kind of gross but I want to note that you poop a lot. Maybe not a lot but often. It seems like we are actually surprised if you don't have a little bit of poop in your diaper. Yes TMI but its funny.

You sleep from 7:30pm-5am most nights. You used to fall asleep on your own but I got into the bad habit of nursing you to sleep most nights. I like that extra time with you, but makes things a little harder for daddy.

You sleep on your tummy and are a catnapper. Usually 30-45 minutes twice a day and sometimes one 1.5 nap

Motor skills-

Right after you turned 7 months you were sitting up on your own.

And now you have almost figured out crawling. You scoot and roll your way to where you want to be, but not actually crawling yet.

You now can sit in a shopping cart by yourself.

We also lowered your mattress some this month since you are sitting up in your bed.

Still no sign of teeth.

You are showing signs of attachment and stranger danger. You cry if we leave you in a room by yourself. And sometimes shy away when someone wants to hold you.

You raise or flap your arms when you want to be picked up.

You have an adorable smile, eye squint, and nose crinkle. You are so expressive with your face and I just love it. You get that from your momma for sure.

You are such a fun, smiley, sweet girl.

Your brothers loves you so much and love being able to play with you more. They also love that you can put your own paci in. Ha!  They like to bring you toys and interact with you. And they love saying good morning to you each morning.

This was another big milestone month for you. I love it so much but I also know it is going by way too fast. We love you so much sweet girl!

Here are more pictures because I just love them!
