Weekend recap

I know it is already Friday and I am just getting to this.  I know this is my second post today. And I know it is a lot of pictures but I am really trying to get caught up on blogs so too bad.

Friday evening we had the rehearsal for our cousin Ryan's wedding. Here Cooper is practicing with the flower girl and Uncle Tyler.

Tyler is such a great uncle to Cooper.

Love this picture of them looking at each other. I wish it was with my nice camera instead of iphone.

Saturday morning we got donuts and hung out in our pjs. I hate that my feet are usually in these pictures but that is how he loves to sit.

Trying on his wedding outfit. The pants were a little big but it is hard to find dress clothes or itty bitties.

Cooper in his Horned Frog jersey for game day.

All dressed up

Casen and I hanging out in the truck.

Eating candy with Grandpa

Not sure what he was doing here, but still eating candy

My handsome husband

The beautiful bride and groom

Sunday we went to lunch with Kyle's family and headed to Ennis

Casen tried out the activity center at Babi's.  I feel like he is saying 'Cooper, I'm not sure about this.'

'Mommy, can you get me out?'

That evening Kyle and my dad went to do some work and Cooper realized he got left behind and was very upset.  Don't worry. Monday morning they took him for 2-3 hours while they did guy stuff and he loved every minute of it. Definitely loves to be with the boys!

We went to pick up dinner for us all and while we were waiting Cooper did some drawing.  All of sudden he said 'mommy, a draw 'w'.  Do you see it?

Monday morning Kyle attempted to take Cooper dove hunting.  Kyle said that Cooper did great but about daylight got antsy and hungry and was ready to go back to Babi's.  It melted my heart that Kyle got him up that morning and took him and even took protective gear for his ears. Kyle is such a good daddy.

He loved the headphone things so much he didn't want to take them off.

My sister's family showed up that afternoon and the kids helped Babi make brownies. I LOVE MacKenzie's ponytail. It was so stinkin cute!

Love those chocolate covered kiddos

Me and Tinsley!

Before we all headed to Fort Worth we went to check out the piggies (wild hogs) that my dad had caught.

We had a wonderful weekend but we literally went nonstop all weekend and didn't get home until 8:30 Monday night.

5 on Friday

1. This sweet boy and I are sick.  Here he is when I took him to the doctor on Wednesday for thrush again and he also has congestion with a little cough. Just one week at day-care and already sick.  My allergies were bothering me and now it feels like a sinus infection- headache, sore throat, running nose, and achy body.  No fun! I would be home sick today because I feel that bad but since I just got back from maternity leave, and went to two doctor appointments this week I figure it wasn't a good idea.

2. I love looking around the kids classrooms for their pictures and art work. Isn't Cooper the cutest little monkey?

And I would die for this sweet acorn!

3. Today their school is celebrating Grandparents' Day. Mimi and Grandpa will be there for Cooper's ice cream party. I hope that take some quick pictures.
4. Each morning Kyle dresses Cooper and I dress Casen.  Apparently great minds think alike because this is how we dressed them today without knowing.

I hate that this pic is blurry because it is such a sweet smile

With the Rangers being on the west coast this past series and then having yesterday off I haven't watch baseball all week and I am having withdrawals!

5.  I wanted to put the boys in purple today for TCU but Casen doesn't have any TCU gear that still fits and Cooper only has his jersey that I want him to wear tomorrow.  I know what the boys need for Christmas! I am wearing my purple!

I hope you all have a good weekend.  Go Rangers and Go Horned Frogs!

Randoms

This is another post that I had ready but never shared.

Just some random pictures of my boys.

We got a random flyer in the mail one day and Cooper decided he was going to read it to Casen.  He would say random stuff and then point and say 'Casen, you see?'

This little cutie loves to hang out on mommy's lap in the evenings.

One night Cooper asked if Casen could take a bath with him so we decided to go for it.
I love how they are both smiling and looking at each other.

This was Casen's first night in his crib.  I had already moved his blanket.  He did wonderful!

We got this little play mat from a friend at work and Casen really likes it.

One day Cooper went #2 on the potty so he got to get a prize from a goodie bag that Mimi got him.  He chose a new train named Hiro

This boy loves to smile and is great at smiling for the camera

He looks a lot like Cooper here but also different

Cooper got wax paper out of our cabinet and was using it like a cane.

I know these are random pictures but I want them on my blog in case anything ever happens to my phone.  And some of these random pictures are my favorites.

Indoor Safari Park

A while back we went to an indoor play place in Flower Mound.  We invited MacKenzie and Aiden to join us.

Here is Cooper waiting with the dogs for Mac Mac to arrive.

Playing before we left

We used groupon deals to get in and there was a ton of stuff for the kids to do.

Cooper, Mac, and Aiden on the train

There were these weird mechanical animals to ride.  Cooper didn't want to ride the first time but did the second time.

There were jungle gyms with ball pits that the kids loved.

They had an entire area of train tables, play kitchens, and more.

Here is Cooper once he got the courage.  He loved it.

We stayed for about 3 hours or so and within 5 minutes this is what we saw.
I think this means they had fun!

Casen's Birth Announcement

I am finally sharing Casen's birth announcement because I finally got them mailed out last week! I think you are normally supposed to get them out by 6 weeks and here I am getting them out when he is 12 weeks. I like to think being a mother of two and dealing with kidney stones is a good excuse but honestly it was just procrastination.

I worked with my college friend Emily who created exactly what I wanted.  Emily is great to work with and as you can see she is very talented.

I love how it turned out!

I plan to share the rest of Casen's newborn pictures soon along with Cooper's 2nd birthday, and Cooper's recent gig as a ring bearer!
