Girls Trip Part 2

Day 2 was Sunday but we had time before church to play and have a yummy pancake breakfast

Chloe got her own 'baby cake' per her cousin's request.

After mass we went to the girls school and prayed before their first day. I am so glad I got to do this with them. We wore coordinating outfits for church :) The girls already had these dresses from summer grandkid pictures.

Then we went home to relax, play, watch movies, and a lot more uno!

Catelyn picked out Chloe's whole outfit. She wanted to change her outfit every time I changed her diaper :)

Each of the girls got to hold her while she napped for a while and they were in Heaven. This made me realize I really need to have Mac and Tins over to play big cousin with Chloe. They love her so much but they often take the backseat to Lusa and Babi wanting Chloe time.

After naps it was swim time. Angela bought a baby pool on clearance just for Chloe.

After swimming was more uno

And we went on an evening walk while Angela prepped dinner.

Then we ended the evening with giving Chloe a bath and early bedtimes before the girls started school the next day.

Girls Trip Part 1

On Saturday the 24th we got up early and got ready for a girls trip to Washington D.C.  My sister and her family live there so we planned a girls trip when we found a cheap ticket.

She had no problem waking up early

All dressed feeling comfy but cute

Our bags are packed, we're ready to go...

Kyle and the boys dropped us off. Angela had a carseat, stroller, and pack n play so that was nice not having to worry about those. So I wore Chloe in this new carrier I got on prime day for less than $20!

I love this picture of us two.

Security line was kind of long so once we got through we raced to the restroom for a diaper change. I successfully peed while she was in the carrier and didn't pee on myself or her. Ha!

Then we raced to the chickfila line for breakfast. By this time I was hot and sweaty.

We then made it to the gate less than 5 minutes before boarding.

Once we got on the plane I put her down while I took off the carrier and got situated.

This picture makes me laugh because she kept making that spitting sound that kind of sounds like farting. Silly girl

I may have purposefully spread out to two seats and got comfy hoping that no one would want to bug me and sit in the middle. It worked! And the young girl in the window seat said she chose to sit with us on purpose because she likes kids and was hoping that seat would be empty.

We ate chickfila and got cozy.

I nursed her during take-off and then she napped for about 40 minutes.

After nap we did diaper change and play time.

Then we landed in Atlanta and stretched our legs while people got off and new people got on.

Once again we got the empty middle seat. Chloe took another short nap on the second flight.

She was so good on the plane. Seriously she couldn't have been better. People around us raved about how good, happy, and sweet she was. Someone even said 'I didn't even know there was a baby behind me she was so quiet'.

I got her back in the carrier and it was time to find our luggage and ride.

Oh that sweet Cate was so excited to see us.

And they immediately facetimed Uncle John and made him jealous.

All loaded up and ready to go. Those are 3 very happy faces.

Once we got to their house it was time for the highly anticipated performance. Annelise and Cate and planned and choreographed a special show for Chloe and I. They even setup seats for us.

Oh my goodness the show was so cute, but funny that Angela and I had tears rolling down our faces. We didn't video it because we thought we were getting a second performance the next day. Unfortunately they didn't want to do it again so we don't have a good video.

They were just too cute and reminded us of doing similar things when we were growing up.

We played and relaxed and then went to dinner that evening. We were all tired so it was a nice early night.

Angela took this picture where Chloe looked like she was in timeout.
