Happy Halloween from the Cline Kids!!

Happy early Halloween. Kyle and I will be in Florida for Halloween and will be way to busy loving on Annelise to do a post so I am going to post it now.
I originally got Riley an angel costume and Ranger a devil costume (beware they were from dollar tree so you get what you pay for). However Riley doesn't really like to be dressed up and Ranger loves to be dressed up so here is Ranger in Riley's angel costume. Isn't he the sweetest angel ever.

Then I put him in his devil costume (and he looks a little evil but he was just yawning!!) He does have a dark side!

Since Riley didn't like the angel or devil costume I decided to just let her wear Ranger's pumpkin costume and it was perfect for! My sweet little pumpkin.

So glad I am feeling better...

This has been a busy week.

I started studying for my second CPA exam. I plan to take it at the end of the month. I have been dreading starting this test. I spent so much time and energy on the first one and this one will be even longer. At least I am a little more prepared over the basic structure of the test and hopefully over the initial jitters of taking the test. I am not looking forward to studying 3-4 hours a night. So far I am doing okay and I think I may take my study material with me to Florida. I figure we will have down time on Friday and Sunday (of course I probably won't want to study).
I also was feeling sick on Tuesday. I stayed home on Wednesday and rested with medication. I was willing to do whatever it took to get better in time for Florida. Thank goodness it was just sinus/allergy stuff and rest was all I needed. I am feeling so much better now.

Now I need to pack for our trip and get all of the dogs stuff together to go to Grandma and Grandpa Cline's. They can't wait to see the Cline Girls (Larry and Susan's Shih Tzus).

1 more sleep!!

My weekend

Friday night Kyle and I had a really great date night.
Saturday we ran errands and then Melisa and I went to Cross Plains to hangout with Granny's side of the family. We had a lot of fun and it was also nice to take the road trip and talk with Melisa.
Sunday Kyle and I slept late and then cleaned house. We washed like 7 loads of laundry. I watched the Cowboy game which started off shaky but thanks to Miles Austin was a great game. I love that he makes awesome plays but still seems very humble (unlike TO). Then Kyle and watched Christmas Vacation which we both love. The whole time I think of Grandad because it is one of his favorite movies. I can just picture him laughing at all of the stupid things especially Cousin Eddie.

While cleaning this weekend we noticed a lot of hair on our comforter. Though Riley is very little she still sheds. We love her dearly, but we don't like dog hair all over our bed. So Sunday night I decided to see how Riley would do sleeping on the floor. We have always planned on her sleeping on the floor it was just a matter of getting her fully potty trained first. Now that she is potty trained (and shedding) I decided it was time to try. We were hesitant to let her sleep on the floor because sometimes she still needs to get up in the night to potty and we didn't know if she would wake us up. Kyle and I both had trouble falling asleep and maybe it was because we were worried about how she would do. Neither one of us wanted to wake up and clean up accidents. We finally fell asleep and at 12:30 I wake up to her whining and stomping her feet in her kennel(which sounds likes a tapping noise). That is how she used to wake us up when she slept in her kennel but needed to potty. So I guess she crawled in there to get our attention. I knew she didn't need to go outside so I put her in the bed with us and she slept the rest of the night.
No I didn't cave, but this is a process for her to get used to (isn't that what they all say.) I will try again tonight. But much like a parent trying to move their baby from bed to crib I do feel guilty. She seems to little to sleep on the floor. We will see how it goes!

4 more sleeps until Florida!!

Riley and Ranger

Two beds but they both want the same one, typical kids!

Riley is now 7 months old and Ranger turned 4 years old this past Sept. They love each other.
Here is Ranger on one of the beds. Riley gets jealous and tries to get him off but see how it ends!!!

He is so proud of himself!!

PS- 8 more sleeps!!

Ready or not here we come!!

Angela made it on her flight from Japan and is now somewhere in route to Florida. Therefore Kyle and I along with my parents, Melisa, and Trent are all flying to Florida on the 30th to see Angela, John, and Annelise for 2 days. We are so unbelievably excited. We haven't seen Annelise (in person) since she was about 8 weeks old. She is now almost 11 months old. We are counting down the days.

And as the Sylvester family counts:
10 sleeps!!!

Kyle's New Toy

Kyle recently received a WWII jeep from his Papa. It has been in the family for more than 20 years and Kyle has very fond memories of it. So Oct 10Th Larry and Kyle went up to his grandparents cabin in Oklahoma to pick up the jeep. It runs however doesn't have any brakes so it needs some work.
Kyle is absolutely thrilled to get to work on it so he can take it out for a ride (though it tops out at about 45 mph and doesn't have seat belts). This is what will keep him for weekends (years) to come.
