Weekend Recap

Friday I took a picture of Cooper in his Big Bang Theory shirt.  We love this show and Cooper love to hear the theme song and tell Big Bang at the end.  (Not sure what was on his fingers but Riley wanted a taste!)

This was right before Mimi, Grandpa, and Uncle T picked him up for a slumber party.

Two weeks ago a facebook shop was have a sale for $12.00 applique shirts.  And the trick was that you didn't get to pick the design just the size.  Cooper's shirt came in the mail Friday evening and I was thrilled to see this!  I think it is perfect for Valentine's day and Cooper loved the robot.

Saturday morning I fed Casen at 5:30 and couldn't go back to sleep so I started my day.  Luckily Casen went back to sleep until 7:30 so I got to be really productive.  Before we ran errands I gave him a bath and did a little mohawk.  His hair on top is so long!! I love his little mohawk but think it needs to be shorter.  But I am not ready for his first haircut so I guess no mohawks for now...You can tell I have given this some thought.

I placed an online order from Old navy because they had a good sale and I needed some things.  So I did a little fashion show in my room.  I loved this outfit and hope to wear it soon!

Then Casen and I ran a ton of errands and came across this sign at Kohls.  I don't know where I would put it in my house, but I think I needed this reminder daily.  I picture it on a mantle or bookshelf and I have neither of those so I will forget about it.

Saturday evening we had game night with Kyle's family and we had a great time.  I tried a new recipe for mini ham sandwiches that was DELICIOUS.  Kyle and I actually made them for dinner last night!  I was also the winner at game night!  I take games very seriously!

Kyle was in Ennis hunting Saturday but joined us later that night at his parents.
Sunday morning Cooper climbed in bed with Casen and asked to hold his hand.  I love these sweet boys so much.

Sunday I had a meeting with some ladies to discuss a Catholic Mommies Group.  It is in the beginning stages of planning but I super excited.

Kyle kept the boys for the first time for an extended period of time and he did great.  Not that I am surprised because he is a great dad.

That evening we went to the grocery store.  They have four of these kids car/carts.  He wanted the yellow cab but it was taken.  He chose the pink car over the fire truck and police car.

Sunday Casen got to try oatmeal for the first time  He gobbled it up and wanted more.  I will share a post with all of the pictures later.

After dinner Cooper and I had apples with some caramel for dessert.  For the Big Bang Theory fans that is a 'soft kitty' shirt.  I got both of these shirts for cheap off of Zulily.

Cooper spent all day on Saturday with Mimi and Grandpa and they took him for frozen yogurt. Plus he got two four wheeler rides that day so he didn't really care about seeing me Saturday evening.

Just some pictures

I mentioned in a previous post that one day Cooper wanted he and Casen to sit in their chairs.  They were being super cute so I grabbed my nice camera and started snapping.

Sitting up like such a big boy

Please excuse the chocolate on his face!

These two adore each other.

Cooper thought Casen needed to wear his hat, at least Casen thought it was funny.

I love these chairs! The only thing is that since we didn't move our space is kinda tight and we can't keep them out all of the time.  Plus unfortunately the color shows every little thing...milk, spit up, and anything else on sticky fingers!

Casen's Baptism

Casen's baptism was a month ago and I finally went through the pictures to share with you and document on here.

Casen's Godparents are Aunt Lusa and Uncle Trent

At the event were- Babi, Grandaddy, Aunt Lusa, Uncle Trent, MacKenzie, Tinsley, Mimi, Grandpa, Uncle Tyler, Aunt Shari, Uncle Ron, Granny Johnson, and Grandad Sylvester.

It was performed by Father Antonio at St. John's in Ennis

Afterwards we went to lunch at Don Jose's to celebrate.

I LOVE this picture!! I can't stop looking at Casen with his great-grandmother!

Me and my sweet Goddaughter!

I love this sweet face!

Sweet little Tinsley!

He screamed when the water was poured over his head.

He was blessed with chrism oil and I love the smell.  It stuck with him for like a week after that and each time it reminded me of his baptism.

With his Godparents

Mimi gave Cooper a new train and he decided to run it up Kyle's neck during pictures.

With his Babi and Grandaddy

I really wish I had realized my sweater looked like that!

With his Mimi and Grandpa

I think Casen looks a lot like his daddy in these pictures

Afterwards at lunch Grandaddy got a chance to hold both babies!

This was such a special day for Casen and our family.  I am so thankful for all those that came to celebrate with us.  I am also very thankful for Uncle Ron who took these pictures and captured this special occasion for us.

Weekend recap

Friday evening we went to our last dinner with my sister and her family before they left for Korea.  It was pretty sad saying goodbye, but for some reason I didn't get an emotional as I have in the past.

Me with sweet Catelyn

Me with my bitty boy!

Lusa with Cate

Me and my first niece! She looks about 12 in this picture!

Saturday morning we did laundry and then did some running around.  Our day was very busy and somehow we didn't get much accomplished.

Cooper kept asking for Riley to sit with him and after much hesitation she caved.  He was very sweet with her (this time)

Casen did a little modeling for Mimi!

Cooper was very busy with all of his cars and trucks!

Casen with Grandpa

Mimi loves her Christmas decorations and already had some up.  She saved some bells for Cooper to put on the tree.  He tried to put them all on the same branch : )

Then it was time to play trains.  This train set is from when Kyle was little.  Mimi is the best train track designer ever.  She has a good imagination.  I always end up with a circle!

Sunday Kyle slept in with the boys and I went to church by myself.  It was really nice to listen and get something out of church.  After that we loaded up and went to Ennis to visit Babi and Grandaddy.

I didn't take very many pictures, but we had a good time.

These boys love their Grandaddy!
