Johnson Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with my parents the afternoon of Christmas day.  We started out with singing happy birthday to Jesus and eating cupcakes.

My sweet boy isn't always so sweet. I can't remember why Cooper didn't want to sit there.

Then we opened presents.

Casen got a cute monkey bag.  Cooper got a tractor one for his first Christmas.

Cooper got a cool camera like MacKenzie's from Aunt Lusa and Uncle Trent

Casen loves this treasure chest that you put money in from Babi and Grandaddy

Isn't she gorgeous!?

Casen tried on Cooper's new pirate gear.

Aunt Lala ordered the cutest pirate set for the two older ones. It has the sword, eye patch, and hook.  The kids loved it!  Cooper still loves his but was having a bit too much fun and broke it.  Which apparently isn't hard to do because Annelise also broke hers.

We had such a nice time Christmas day.  My mom took care of all of the food and we just got to show up and enjoy.

I think that is my last Christmas post.

Here are some random pictures since the holidays

One night we had a game night...just one round...that felt like forever with Cooper's new Thomas game.

We played again on the day we were home with sick boys instead of going to Christmas at my Granny's

I also gave Cooper 'dirt' to play in with his trucks since it is too cold to be out side.  The dirt is actually flour.

Casen got to open his present from Aunt Neva and Uncle Tommy thanks to Babi bringing the presents to the sick boys.

Cooper got a new four-wheeler from Granny and Papa

He also tried on his new rain boots from Mimi and Grandpa

Casen just being cute! It's an easy job for him!

Casen entertaining himself with an empty water bottle.

He loved it!

Cooper loving on his new Sully from Aunt Neva and Uncle Tommy.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning we had to wake the boys up because they were sleeping in.  I think it was about 8:30 when we finally got them up. They never sleep that late normally.

Cooper was excited to see all of the goodies but also half asleep still.

The first thing he found were the construction trucks that he has been obsessed with since.

They boys got 3 gifts from Santa plus their stockings.  They got 4 gifts from us/each other.  We didn't do any big gifts this year because we just didn't think they needed anything big.  Casen got the Fisher Price Noah's Ark set plus more animals.

Cooper got Chutes and Ladders, matching pjs, and a movie.  Casen got a little toy, shark bath towel, and matching pjs.

At one point Kyle put him in there and it looks like he is thinking 'Hey dad! I am too big for this!'

We had a nice relaxing morning at home opening presents and playing before heading to Ennis around lunch time.

Christmas Eve with the Cline

We always spend Christmas even (evening) with Kyle's side.  We went to mass at 4:00 at a Catholic church nearby.  It is not our home church but because it is close to Kyle's parents and has a 4:00 service we go there each year.  This is our 3rd year.  Prior to Cooper's arrival we would go to Ennis for midnight mass after we finished with Kyle's family.

We always eat first and this year the food was amazing.  We always do appetizer/snack foods.  I wish I had taken pictures because there were so many good recipes.  I will try to share some with you soon.

After food we take pictures.  Right around dinner time Cooper medicine wore off and he was running a fever again so he was pathetic for the pictures.

The boys with their great-grandparents (Casen's enthusiasm makes up for Cooper looking drugged up)

Casen got the cutest monkey from Mimi and Grandpa.  It is perfect for his monkey themed first birthday!

Cooper and Casen got a Elmo that gives hugs

I love this pic of me and Casen.  (Casen had spit up so much that he was soggy so we decided to put him in his pjs early.)

Some of these pictures are out of order because some are from my camera and some from Uncle Ron.
