Thursday after Casen's checkup it had already started to sleet. When we got home I decided to make Cooper a special treat.
His first hot (lukewarm) chocolate
He thought it was delicious!
Friday morning my office and the boys' daycare were closed so we had a snow day at home. St. Nicholas also made a visit the night before so the boys woke up to treats.
Cooper got stickers, puzzles, and some other goodies. This was perfect for the snow day.
Then I told him there was a surprise outside.
He didn't know what to think of the ice that looked like snow.
We got him all bundled up to go outside. It wasn't easy to play with and honestly I didn't feel like getting in it to help him play. He stayed out for about 2 minutes and then we were back inside. He did like looking out the window and seeing that it was still there throughout the day.
This is the view from our front porch. Please excuse the ugly Neon, it is still hanging in there!
Then Casen woke up to checkout his goodies!
I love his wild bed head
He even wore his new onesie!
That evening we ventured to dinner with David and Jen because Kyle has four wheel drive and has some experience driving in ice. Cooper hadn't had a nap and insisted on wearing the Santa hat to dinner. He feel asleep on the 10-15 minute drive there.
He had very red cheeks despite not being outside much.
I wish he was looking up in this one.
I guess Cooper has lots of personality too!
I can't believe that the picture above is the most recent pic on my phone. That means I haven't taken a single picture in a week since today is Thursday! I am surprised I haven't gotten complaints from the grandparents!
