Chloe is 6 month's old. In some ways I can't believe she has only been part of our life for 6 months and other ways I can't believe it is already 6 months.
She wasn't in the best mood for these pictures but they show her personality still
Chloe is now 12lbs 6.5 ounces and 24 inches long. She is 1% for both height and weight. Her head is 41.5cm which is 28th%
She wears size 2 diapers and mostly 3-6 month clothes but still some shorts and leggings that are 0-3 months.
Chloe is still our smiley girl that is definitely a morning person. This month she started doing better with Kyle in the evenings until I get home.
She is definitely more aware of and entertained by her brothers.
Developmentally
Chloe rolls over now but not consistently. Right before 6 months she started to roll to her tummy in her bed but didn't always like it.
Now that she is rolling to her tummy we have stopped swaddling her arms at night. She still wears a sleep sack to keep her warm since she doesn't use a blanket but we have a sleeveless one or we wrap the other one under her arms.
Chloe goes to bed around 7-7:30 and sleeps all night until I get her up around 5 to nurse. Then she goes back to sleep most mornings until about 6:15 when I get her up and ready for day-care.
Her nap schedule varies on the weekends but during the week she takes two small naps and one longer nap
Chloe nurses at 5:00am, then bottle at 7:30, 10, 2:30 and 5 (if she is still there) at daycare. Then I nurse her when I get home and again before bed.
Her bottles are about 4 ounces.
This month I cut out spicy foods and my v8 energy drinks. Both seemed to bother her but especially the spicy food. This was so hard for me to give up but she was spitting up so much that I was willing to do whatever. They said some bottles she practically refused or struggled through at day-care so I did what I had to do.
A few days before she turned 6 months we introduced cereal to get her used to eating something before we started baby food. She has also become very interested in water bottles and other people's drinks so we are going to introduce a sippy cup soon.
She still loves to put her fingers in her mouth and wants to be a finger sucker so bad. Though it is adorable we still try to discourage it...I think it is a losing battle.
Chloe loves bath time. She loves watching the water come out of the faucet or my pour water out of a cup.
Chloe is such a blessing to our family. I will be the first to admit (maybe 2nd after Kyle) that she isn't the easiest baby. She is tough in the evenings to keep entertained as we make dinner or tend to her brothers.
But she is also such a ray of sunshine and she melts us with her smile. We all love her so much and are thankful for our sweet Clo Clo.
