FWSSR Part 2

Read Part 1 Here.

Cooper looks so little in this picture but he sure thought he was a big boy this day.

He sat on a tractor/other equipment in red, yellow, orange, blue, green, and white.  Sorry ladies, but no pink or purple.

We took a picture with the bulls

Love this picture!!!

And this explains our lives exactly right now.  Here one minute and gone the next!

Cooper and Grandpa

A lady took her cow for a walk so we stopped to pet him and take a picture.

Casen was such a sweet boy the entire time.  When we got in the car it was an hour past lunch time and we gave him a cold bottle.  But this cutie didn't complain one bit.

The next morning Cooper wanted his 'cowboy' back on.  He calls it just his cowboy instead of cowboy hat.  Kinda like he called our Christmas tree just Christmas.

We had a great time and I look forward to going again next year.

Valentine's Day is almost here

Valentine's Day is almost here and I have some cute valentine's shirts for the boys.  Both of Cooper's are applique and Kyle thinks they are dorky so he never puts them on Cooper.  And he is the one that dresses Cooper each morning.  I finally asked (made) him to put Cooper in this shirt this morning.

Day-care opened one hour late so Cooper got to watch a quick episode of Micky Mouse Clubhouse (he is obsessed).  Casen was also interested in the show.

Casen kept grabbing Cooper and here is Cooper moving away.  Creepy picture, but made me laugh that I caught him in action.

Cooper giving Casen the evil eye.

Then starting trying not to smile which is hard when Casen is smiling big at you.

Then we did a quick photo shoot at day-care so I could send a picture to family.

The pictures are never perfect but they are still memories.

I wanted some pictures of Casen by himself so I could compare to when Cooper wore this onesie.

Cooper would have been 1 month younger at this point.
Do you think they have the same eyes? And same jaw line but Casen's face is a little longer. And of course the obvious difference is the hair and eyebrows!

Happy Friday!

Snowy Day in Fort Worth

This is a post about the weather and selfies

This morning I knew we were supposed to get snow so I decided to wear my heavy knitted scarf.  My sister, Angela made this for me years ago and I love it.  It is TCU purple!

I wanted to take a picture to send to her but it would be through facebook so it had to be a decent picture.

That meant I took about 10 different pictures.  Smile? Don't smile? Close up? Far away? Whatever!

I wanted her to see the purple!

Then I decided to do it this way instead!

We went outside to head to day-care and quite a bit of snow had already accumulated and it was still coming down.  Cooper thought it was very cool and said he wanted a snowman.

This is what my parking lot looked like when I got to work. That was taken about 7:45 and it is still coming thought not as heavy.

So I am enjoying some hot chocolate and working hard...except for the quick blog break!

Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Part 1

This past Saturday we went to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.  We didn't actually go to the rode just the grounds itself. Thanks to our museum membership we got in for free to the grounds.

Kyle's parents, brother Tyler, and his girlfriend, Katie joined us. The weather started out cold but ended up very nice.  We actually could only stay for a couple of hours but Cooper loved it and I wish we had more time.  I will definitely allow for more time next year.

The first thing we did was find the petting zoo.  Cooper wasn't too sure about the animals this year and I don't blame him!

I absolutely LOVE his hat that he got from Mimi and Grandpa for Halloween 2012 when he was a cowboy.  He wears it a lot and it is totally misshapen but oh well.

These cows were hungry and every time I tried to feed them I was convinced they would bite me.  Yes I am a country girl but we never had these animals as pets.  They were just money makers (or money takers depending on who you ask).

Look at that tongue by Mimi's hand!

I love this one with Cooper and Mimi looking at something.

We went into an exhibit hall to get out of the cold and Cooper was in heaven.  There were tractors and lots of farm equipment everywhere and he wanted to sit on every single one.

He looks so little in the picture below

Casen had to get it on the action!

I sent this picture to my dad saying the boys were making their Christmas lists.  Notice the price!

Cooper found a nice expensive one (but probably one of the cheapest ones there) for his list!

I have more picture that I will share tomorrow.  Get ready for more tractors!

This boy loves his daddy

Casen LOVES his Daddy.  I don't think he likes one of us more than the other.  But if Kyle walks by Casen will crane his neck to watch him.  He will stare across the room at Kyle until he catches Kyle's attention.

The other day I caught this.  Casen just wouldn't take his eyes off of him.

(I think we know where Cooper gets that goofy mean face...see below)

Look at that smile he gives his daddy.

My boys sure are lucky!

See the mean face! Ha!

Look at this adorable picture of Casen from day-care.  That isn't his hat but you would think it came with the sleeper.

Casen's first ride in the shopping cart

A week ago we took the boys to the grocery store on a nice day and decided to let Casen sit in the car with Cooper for the first time.  We have decided he is still too small for this but would do fine in a regular cart in the front spot.  The car has a little seat belt but nothing between the legs to help hold him back.

As usual...Cooper looking at the camera
Then Casen looks at the camera

They both look away

I like how they look like they are just chillin and cruisin in this pic.
