29 weeks along

Sept 18th

How Far Along: 29 Weeks (72.5% done!)

Size of baby: small cabbage (17 inches long, 2.9lbs)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 16 lbs

Maternity Clothes: I am recycling one pair of maternity jeans, a pair of maternity black pants, and random things I can make work. On the weekends I have two pairs of maternity workout capris and a pair of shorts on repeat.

Gender: Baby Girl – Chloe Marie Cline

Movement: Still movin and groovin

Sleep: the usual, switch from hip to hip, pee 2-3 times a night

What I miss: Sleeping well

Cravings: I had Texas Roadhouse this past weekend and it was yummy. Also had Chipotle. Other than that I am not sure I have any specific cravings. Oh I did eat pb&j with chocolate milk twice.

Symptoms: Braxton hicks and back pain. Not sleeping as well. Maybe some slight swelling but not significant yet…but I know it is coming.

Best Moment this week: I am not sure. Probably just everyone getting excited for Chloe’s arrival.

I can't wait: for the sonogram in 7 sleeps!

Sept 25th - 3D/4D sonogram with the boys

Sept 26th- first two week appt checkup!!

My dr appts on the 14th was fun but uneventful. I had a list of questions for her (traveling, baby’s position, a free breastpump) and I felt like she was rushing me right along. It is annoying but I know that is just how she is.

28 weeks along

Sept 11th

How Far Along: 28 Weeks (70% done!) Officially in the 3rd trimester

Size of baby: cauliflower (16 inches long, 2.5lbs)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 15.5lbs

Maternity Clothes: dresses, maternity jeans, and a few other pieces. Well only one thing in the order worked out from Old Navy (black skinny dress pants for work) but the black jeans were too tight which is frustrating because they are the same size and style as the jeans I kept from a previous order.

Gender: Baby Girl – Chloe Marie Cline

Movement: She is a mover and a shaker. And Kyle is so sweet because he checks on her often to see if she is moving and each night rests his hand on my stomach as he falls asleep to feel her move.  This girl is going to rock our world but I can’t wait to see her bond with each of us.

Sleep: the usual, switch from hip to hip, pee 2-3 times a night

What I miss: Sleeping well

Cravings: I got Mexican food and a pina colada on Friday at moms night out!  Still craving Cracker Barrel, Texas Roadhouse, home cooking.

Symptoms: lots of Braxton Hicks and back pain. And I think the swelling is coming. This morning I noticed my ring was kind of hard to get on. It was also difficult bending over to get my booties on. So winter shoes might be tough for me.

Best Moment this week: I did some more cleaning out of the nursery and went through some of the stuff give to us. I am anxious to get the room cleaned out, cleaned thoroughly and start setting up the crib. I also got a wood wall hanging for above the crib that says ‘Chloe Marie’ Now I just have to decide what color to paint it.

I can't wait: for my checkup this Friday and the sonogram in 2 weeks with the boys. I can’t wait to see her and see if she has any hair. I would kind of love for her to have a head full of black hair like her granddaddy and I both had when we were born.

Sept 14th- glucose test and checkup

Sept 25th - 3D/4D sonogram with the boys

Sept 26th- first two week appt checkup!!

27 weeks along

Sept 4th

How Far Along: 27 Weeks (67.5% done!)  and her due date is 3 months from today!!!

Size of baby: cucumber (15 inches long, 2.2lbs)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 13.5lbs

Maternity Clothes: dresses, maternity jeans, and a few other pieces. I have an old navy order on its way to me so hopefully I will have a few more things to rotate between.

Gender: Baby Girl – Chloe Marie Cline

Movement: Lots of movement and I love it. This weekend my mom, David, and Jen all got to feel her.

Sleep: the usual, switch from hip to hip, pee 2-3 times a night, and snoring which is keeping Kyle up so we are trying to figure that out. And last night I was looking at the clock every single hour just unable to stay asleep.

What I miss: I don’t know

Cravings: The usual Mexican food (chipotle, Rosa’s, chips and queso), pina coladas. Also wanting Cracker Barrel, Texas Roadhouse, home cooking.

Symptoms: lots of Braxton Hicks, back pain that is likely kidney stone related, my skin has finally cleared up so that is nice not to be dealing with the giant pimples anymore. No feet swelling yet! Yay!!

Best Moment this week: It was a good week but I cant think of anything specific.

I can't wait: for our sonogram with the boys! It feels like forever since I have been to the doctor. I am excited to start having appts every 2 weeks.

Sept 14th- glucose test and checkup

Sept 25th - 3D/4D sonogram with the boys

Sept 26th- first two week appt checkup!!

26 Weeks Along

Aug 28th

How Far Along: 26 Weeks (65% done!)

Size of baby: eggplant (9.2 inches long, 2lbs)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 11.5lbs

Maternity Clothes: dresses, maternity jeans, and a few other pieces. I need to buy one more pair of pants.

Gender: Baby Girl – Chloe Marie Cline

Movement: Lots of movement and I love it

Sleep: the usual, switch from hip to hip, pee 2-3 times a night, and snoring which is keeping Kyle up so we are trying to figure that out.

What I miss: I don’t know

Cravings: No new cravings this week- still Mexican food (chipotle, Rosa’s, chips and queso), pina coladas

Symptoms: lots of Braxton Hicks, back pain that is likely kidney stone related, my skin has finally cleared up so that is nice not to be dealing with the giant pimples anymore.

Best Moment this week: I got a package in the mail from my college roommate sending me some cute TCU hand-me-downs and a few other things. And a lady at work gave me a cute swimsuit that her granddaughter never got to wear. We love hand-me-downs and sweet surprises. Oh I also got a pair of workout capris from a friend that are great.

I can't wait: for our sonogram with the boys!

Sept 14th- glucose test and checkup

Sept 25th - 3D/4D sonogram with the boys

25 Weeks along

Aug 21st

How Far Along: 25 Weeks (62.5% done!)

Size of baby: rutabaga (9 inches long, 1.7lb)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 12.0lbs

Maternity Clothes: I still haven’t found a pair of skinny work pants I like so it has been dresses, skirts, and jeans lately. I went through the maternity boxes this weekend and washed a lot of shirts and a few pants. I don’t love any of them but I am cheap and don’t want to waste money on maternity clothes. I did order a pair of running shorts and workout leggings from Kohls on sale to be comfy on the evenings and weekends.

Gender: Baby Girl – Chloe Marie Cline

Movement: Chloe is a busy little girl and I love it! You can see it from the outside. She likes to hangout on my right side so my belly often looks lopsided.

Sleep: Still flip from side to side. Get up to pee twice a night most nights

What I miss: I don’t know

Cravings: Mexican food always sounds good, breakfast tacos, something sweet after a meal, the usual

Symptoms: lots of Braxton Hicks, the last two days my feet have hurt at the end of the day but so far no swelling.

Best Moment this week: We have decided on the baby bedding. It is pink and a blue green color with a white background. We also rearranged Cooper’s room to fit both beds with the nightstand in between. We are on night 2 of it going okay. The next step is buying some drawers to organize their closet and combine space. Then we can start working on Chloe’s room.

I can't wait: for our sonogram with the boys! Monday morning Casen said ‘how many weeks until baby sister gets here’ and I said 15. He said ‘ughhhh that is so long!!’

Last night Cooper and I were playing soccer in the driveway and he was beating me. He said ‘momma, its okay to run.’ And I said well its hard because I don’t have shoes on and I have a big belly.’ He said ‘Yeah, well when she is out of your tum tum you will be better at soccer’ J

Dr appt update- I did not get a sonogram last week.  Chloe’s heartrate was in the 150s and sounded good. I had moderate blood in my urine (still not visible to me, but it seemed more yellow so I figured they would say that) so they sent that to the lab but I never heard back so I am assuming no infection. We still assume this is related to some kidney stones and after Chloe gets here I might see an urologist to make sure there isn’t anything I should be doing.

My next appt I will be 28 weeks and is Sept 14th. At that appointment I will do my glucose test. Previously she mentioned possibly doing a sonogram at 28 weeks but she didn’t mention it and I didn’t ask. After that appointment I switch to appointments every 2 weeks! So exciting!

24 weeks along

Aug 14th

How Far Along: 24 Weeks (60% done!)

Size of baby: ear of corn (8.5 inches long, 1.5lb)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 9.5lbs

Maternity Clothes: Broke out my new old navy maternity jeans this week. My hips must have expanded some because my work pants are pretty tight with the belly band so I am going to have to let those go.

Cravings: Bagels, Mexican food (specifically Rosa’s crispy beef taco plate), frozen pina coladas

Symptoms: random Braxton Hicks, some tailbone pain and lots of peeing

Best Moment this week: It has been a nice easy week. Little girl moves a lot which I love to know she is doing well. I ordered a different baby bedding and it came in last night. I want to look closer at it tonight and decide if it is for sure the one I want to keep.

I can't wait: to get the boys in one room (they are really fighting us on this) and to start organizing her room.

Next dr appt is this Friday August 17th. I am excited because I had a confirmation voicemail earlier and they mentioned a sonogram. Fingers crossed I get a sonogram this week!

We also scheduled our 3D/4D sonogram with the boys for September 25th. I can’t wait!!

23 Weeks Along

Aug 7th

How Far Along: 23 Weeks (57.5% done!)

Size of baby: papaya (8 inches long, 1.2lb)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 7.5lbs again Now that I have more energy and my gym renovations are done I am going to try to go 2-3 days a week. Yesterday I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Nothing crazy just staying active.

Maternity Clothes: Same as before, dresses, skirts, and belly band with regular clothes.

Gender: Baby Girl – Chloe Marie Cline

Movement: Lots of regular movement but she does not like to move for her daddy. Kyle checks regularly and she never moves. Now it is just a running joke…though maybe it is because he calls her ‘mommy’s mean kid’ or ‘what is your mean kid doing’ and he attempts to feel her
J

Sleep: Still flip from side to side. Get up to pee twice a night most nights

What I miss: not sure. Maybe lunch meat because lately I have been wanting turkey sandwiches at home.

Cravings: salads (I made one with homemade ranch last night), potbelly, Mexican food (specifically Rosa’s crispy beef taco plate), frozen pina coladas (I have been craving this since June. I had a virgin one a few weeks ago on a date night with David and Jen and I can’t stop thinking about it). This morning I had a craving for punch. I always love punch at baby showers, wedding showers, graduation parties, etc. Too bad you can’t make it in small portions without wasting lots of ingredients.

Anyone hosting a party soon and want to invite me or share some punch?

Symptoms: random Braxton Hicks, tailbone pain if I sit for too long, lots of peeing, my skin is breaking out less. I feel good honestly. This is the happy space before I gain another 20lbs.

Best Moment this week: Not much happened last week. We are trying to combine the boys into one room so we can have a nursery and keep a playroom. That isn’t going well. We tried this over the last few years and Casen just doesn’t do well with Cooper. He keeps Cooper awake and takes forever to fall asleep. In the last 10 days I have found a puzzle and craft kit in Cooper’s bed when I go in in the morning. And today I found them both asleep in the playroom with the tv on. Casen woke Cooper up at some point in the night.  So this transition isn’t going great and we definitely have to figure it out before school starts so Cooper is getting enough rest.

I can't wait: To have a room for the nursery and start putting stuff in there. Then I feel like I can start pulling stuff down from the attic, assemble the crib, and store some of the random stuff around the house.

Next dr appt is August 17th.
