Fun Family-Filled Weekend!
Friday evening we headed down to Ennis
We grabbed yummy Chicken Express on the way through town and just relaxed at my parents house. Melisa, Trent and Mackenzie were also there to spend the night.
My mom had this adorable onesie made for Cooper! I love the fabric choices!! And Cooper I think Cooper loved it too!
Saturday morning Kyle went hunting and my mom, Melisa, the kids, and I set out to do some shopping.
We met up with my Granny to pick out some fabric for a couple of projects. Some are Christmas gifts for other family members and some are just cute things for the kiddos. We also went out to lunch with Granny.
Then we picked up gifts for a baby shower and a bachelorette party/personal shower
Saturday night we went to a Tacky Christmas Sweater party/ coed wedding shower.
My Aunt Sherry had these cute holiday headbands for the kids to do a little skit.
Cooper was tired but he woke up just in time for his part (each kid held a piece of paper with a word on it)
Sunday morning we got up bright and early and went to church. We read several books to Cooper this weekend and he seems to really be interested. Love this picture of Coop with his Babi!
After Kyle got done with his morning hunt on Sunday we headed back to the Fort Worth area to spend time with his family. Uncle T was in town and we couldn't wait to see him.
Grandpa made "greasy tacos" similar to Jack in the Box tacos for dinner and they were delicious.
One minute Cooper was in a great mood and the next he was fussy. Not sure what it was, but probably just tired.
Here is Cooper hanging out with his Grandpa.
Sunday morning before we left Ennis I caught my parents just staring at Cooper and smiling. Sure enough Sunday night I caught Kyle's parents doing the same thing.
We are so blessed to have such wonderful families. Cooper doesn't realize just yet how lucky he is. All of his grandparents just adore him and can't get enough of him. They usually complain (or sound sad) if they don't seem him once a weekend and then they still say that isn't enough.
We are truly blessed!
I hope you all had a weekend as wonderful as ours!!
