Soccer Week 2

Week 2 of soccer was another adventure. This week we finally came up with a team name.  We are the Firecrackers!!  To be honest I am the only one who made suggestions of Tornadoes, Hurricanes, and Fireworks.  And to be honest the kids had no opinion so the coach picked the Firecrackers. This name is much better than the two suggestions in Week 1 from the kids 'working together' or 'soccer.'

 

Blaine was excited to see Cooper on the field and don't the coaches look excited to be there?

 

 

Cooper was willing to 'give five' which is a huge improvement!

 

Cooper was anxious to start the game and I got excited thinking this might be a turning point.

 

And after kick off this is where Cooper was.

 

Just watching from a safe distance.

 

Jeff giving Aiden a pep talk to get him out there.  We have a lot of these with our two boys.  Also a lot of chasing and begging.

 

Coach Matt is awesome.  He is a father of 3 and willing to do whatever to help us get our kiddos out there.  We really appreciate it.

Poor Coach Matt.  Cooper was DONE at this point!

 

Even Mimi tried going out there with him, but he was still done.

 

Aiden warmed up and had a great time in the last quarter of the game.

 

We ended up winning thanks to a couple stars on our team.  We are just happy to get Cooper to stand on the field.

*I forgot to mention that Mimi, Grandpa, Uncle Tyler, Aunt Shari, and Uncle Ron all attended this game.
