Oh my sweet Chloe Girl. I can't believe you are already 7 months old!
We call you Chloe girl, Clo Clo, C-Lo, Whoawy
The day you turned 7 months you went to the doctor with your first ear infection. Therefore we also got to find out your stats
13lbs 6oz (fully dressed) 2.84%
No length measurement
Wearing 6 month and 3-6 month clothes
Size 2 diapers
You are getting close to sitting up but not quite there.
Consistently rolling over finally.
You do the funniest thing like bucking on your back. It doesn't look comfortable but it helps you get where you want to go and then you roll to your tummy. I have it on video and it makes us all laugh.
This also made daddy come up with the nickname 'squirmy wormy' for you.
Still breastfeeding and eating baby food. Right after your turned 6 months we started sending cereal to daycare and on June 4th you had peas for the first time.
You have 4 ounce bottles every 2.5-3 hours at daycare. You have oatmeal in the morning, a jar of baby food at lunch, and another one at dinner. I usually give you half a veggie and half a fruit. However now days they have a lot of fun mixes like mango avocado, or blueberry apple and green beans. You really seem to eat any of them.
I can definitely tell a difference in your spitting up since I gave up spicy food and energy drinks. I still don't really know if it is both or not but I just do it.
You are loving a sippy cup of water
You are very interested in straws but haven't figured them out yet.
At bedtime you just sleep on your tummy in a sleeper. No more sleep sacks. You love your fingers and once you lose your pacifier in the night you just use your fingers for comfort. That is nice for mommy and daddy sleeping but not a great habit.
As cute as you are sucking your fingers I would be happy if we could drop that.
You go to bed between 7-7:30 and are up between 5-5:30 for me to nurse you. Then you sleep another hour until we get you ready for the day. You love to wake up a little early and watch mommy get ready or go wake up your brothers.
Still no teeth or obvious signs one is coming
You love bath time and your favorite part if when the water is on and you try to catch it over and over. You decided you no longer want to lay on the bath mat but sit up and play.
You have still been battling cradle cap but mimi mentioned using baby oil and a brush to get rid of it so I tried that this month and it is pretty much all gone. Yay!!
On June 21st you officially figured out how to put your own paci in and that is so nice in the car, when you are playing on the floor, etc.
This month you took your first trip to Little River and you were so good. You did great in the cabin at night and melted everyone's hearts.
However you came home with a cough and it was quite pathetic. Luckily it cleared up after about a week and didn't turn into anything worse.
Look at all of that dark hair coming in
We also got the high chair down at the end of the month and you like sitting there and watching us prepare dinner or eat.
These are some of my favorite pictures. You were in such a good mood for this session. And you cute outfit came from Aunt Katie.
For a little comparison
Chloe we love you so much and we are all obsessed with you. The boys love to make you laugh and entertain you. You have two playmates for life I think. Except they are realizing now that nerf gun bullets and legos aren't safe around you!
